El Picacho is a product of an area less travelled in Honduras. In the district of Intibuca, farmers typically hold microlots of up to 8 hectares each equipped with a micro mill of their own. This means the handpicked cherries can be processed immediately and without delay.
We chose this coffee because it really stood out on our cupping table. It exceeded all of our expectations, bringing complex and nuanced candy-like cantaloupe sweetness as well as floral aromas.
This is the first time El Picacho coffee from this area is being showcased in the UK, and it will certainly not be the last.
