This natural lot is a project lead by Jose Antonio Salaverria and his two sons Andres and Jose Antonio Salaverria – now 6th generation of coffee producers.
La Esmeralda is the latest natural coffee processed at Las Cruces Mill. It was carefully decided to put this coffee into a natural process because of its mature homogeneous ripeness. The Esmeralda natural is selectively handpicked by professional pickers that have been working at the farm for more than 10 years.
A combination of 100% organic fertilizer, dedication to soil health, quality and thorough processing has made La Esmerelda the coffee it is: an exceptional natural, with lasting robust cherry sweetness.
